What is the minimum age to learn how to fly?

There is no minimum age to begin flight lessons with a certified flight instructor but you must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for a student pilot certificate for the operation of an airplane. A student pilot certificate is required to fly solo.

 

What is the minimum age to become a recreational or private pilot airplane?

To be eligible for a recreational pilot or private pilot airplane certificate, a person must be at least 17 years of age the day of the practical test.

 

How long does it take to get a private pilot license?

The duration of the course is variable and largely based in student's availability. A full time student can complete the course in approximately 4 to 6 weeks. On average, it takes 5 months for a part time student. Depending on your availability, we will evaluate the time needed. For your convenience, the flight school is opened 7 days a week and schedules are adaptable to suit your needs.

 

How many hours do I have to fly to get my private pilot certificate?

The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, the national average to complete the private pilot training is about 65 hours.
